If you haven’t been to the “Dubai Garden Glow” yet, you should definitely go and see it, especially if you have children and like colourful decorations.
It’s worth going when the sun’s down because the kids will love this magically lit wonderland, which consists of more than 30 light installations.
Models of Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab
These installations include a model of the Burj Al Arab, as well as a 12m-high model of the Burj Khalifa made from 330,000 medicine bottles filled with coloured water. Other sculptures include giraffes, tigers, and elephants, as well as moving dinosaurs, talking trees, and colourful bugs.
A highlight of the “Dubai Garden Glow” is a model of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which has been built from 90,000 porcelain cups, plates and spoons.
During the exhibition, visitors have the opportunity to see acrobats and other live performers, and are able to grab a bite at the food trucks.
Timings and general admission
The “Dubai Garden Glow” can be seen until April this year at Zabeel Park, Zone B (Gate 6 and 7) and is open daily from 4pm – 11pm. General admission to the exhibition is AED 60 per person. Children under the age of three go for free.
