If you’ve ever wanted to beat the heat living in the UAE, it’s worth your while to make a visit to the Middle East’s first indoor ski resort, Ski Dubai.
The Ski Dubai resort is located in Mall of Emirates and features an 85-meter high indoor mountain, 3000 square meter indoor snow park, as well as two cafes.
Skiers and snowboarders alike will enjoy the multiple runs and freestyle areas. If you’re not interested in skiing, you can also enjoy the snow by viewing the penguins, sledding, playing in the Snow Park, riding inside giant Zorb Balls, or taking the chairlift up and down the mountain.
By the way, if you’re interested in meeting other expats or attending a meet-up at Ski Dubai, check out our Snowboarding and Skiing Group on ExpatConnect.
As far as pricing, a basic Ski Slope pass for two hours costs AED 210. This includes your skis or snowboard, trousers, jacket, boots, socks, ski poles, and helmet. If you have gloves or a hat, you’ll want to bring them with you, or you can purchase them at Ski Dubai.
Prices vary depending on what activities you decide to do and how much time you want to spend in the resort. Ski Dubai tickets can be purchased year round either online or in person at their booking counter.
