One concept of 'New Code NLP' is state transfer. The way to state transfer, is to create a positive state (power, happiness, calm etc) and transfer that state of mind to another area of life where you would benefit from a different, or new behaviour/state of mind. This exercise also uses a technique from perceptual positions.
If you were nervous during a meeting but calm on the phone ...you could build a state of calm (from the phone context) and transfer it to the 'live' meeting (context) situation.
