Namaste! We love doing yoga, meditation, and Pilates in the UAE. These are all great low impact exercises that build strength, flexibility, and inner peace. If you're looking for a class buddy or full group meet-ups to practice in Dubai, please join us.
Dubai offers many beautiful venues for exercising including rooftops, beaches, studios, and parks. Staying active with out busy Dubai lives, is a great way to feel better and meet some other expats living in the UAE.
We’d like to tell you a little bit about the exercises we do in our Yoga and Pilates Community. First of all, Yoga involves placing the body in different forms and holding stretches. It is a low-impact exercise that may also involve meditation, breathing, and music. Yoga can help relieve stress, aid in reducing depression, and help alleviate muscle or back pain. There are many different types of yoga, including, but not limited to Bikram yoga and Hatha yoga.
On the other hand there is Pilates, which is another type of low-impact exercise that involves more aerobics. However Pilates focuses on your body’s core, including your abs, lower back, glutes, obliques, lower and inner thigh, etc. Pilates helps you develop flexibility, strength, muscular endurance, and very importantly good posture. Exercises usually involve using a floor mat or other equipment.
Whether you’re a complete beginner at Yoga or Pilates, or an experienced master, we would love to see you at our regular meet-ups.
